National Main Street Center
The nationwide Main Street  program, a division of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, encourages a four-point approach (organization, design, promotion and economic restructuring)  to revitalizing historic downtowns and urban areas.  Oklahoma's Main Street Program is a division of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.  Oklahoma City has been home to five urban Main Street Programs, which in cooperation with the City of Oklahoma City have generated millions of dollars in reinvestment to the community.
